FUN INTENDED...

A couple of weeks ago for date night we went to the Secret Beach...

Patrick had his new phone...

He was super excited about it...

It was Ruby's first time lake side...

She LOVED it...

Her mom had a good time watching her enjoy it...
We got our feet's wet...
There was a rainbow...
Ruby was sitting in the water, a wave came in, it kind of freaked her out...

What have I been up to?

Let's see, what have I been up to? I took a trip to the Secret Beach last weekend to stay until the stars came out. Got there just in time for sunset, then stayed until about 10:30 pm, everyone had cleared out, and I waited, and waited and waited for the stars. But, the bugs were so bad and I failed to realize that the stars coming out would take longer than inland so I left after I saw two stars. I'm planning the star gazing fest when it's cooler and the bugs aren't so thick and when I have someone with me (it's kinda scary there after dark, it's remote). This photo is on my way out...there's one star :)

I did a Family Photo Shoot with my oldest son and his beautiful family...
Look at these lovely ladies...I love them!

I did a Baby/Family photo shoot for a friend from work, it was my baby shower gift to her. Keep that in mind people, photo shoots as gifts. I have Gift Certificates available!!!!

I love the look on his face, he was just so enthused to be holding his toes...oh the joy!
Then I did a Senior Shoot for the lovely Leena...
These are just a couple of my favorites...
She's rocking some sassiness here...I love it! I kept telling her that she was "SUPER cute" and I wasn't lying, she is SUPER cute!

Looking UP in all Seasons...

This morning in my daily quiet time I was reminded to "Look UP!" I remembered the photo of this tree I took. I love the perspective of this photo, it causes you to look up. I've mentioned on this blog before that I love trees, one of the reasons is that to totally embrace the beauty of a tree you have to look up. It's a reminder for me to quit looking around at circumstances, to quit focusing on all the things that come to bring confusion and keep me from making progress on the path that God has for me. It's a call to quit listening to the voices that are trying to keep me looking around and not UP at Him, at God! Whatever Season of Life you're in look UP! Keep your eyes on Him! He's got His eyes on YOU and is smiling at YOU, loving YOU, longing to lead you in the best possible way....

Girl Breakfast Fun!!!!

It was this girls birthday in July...

She just keeps getting prettier....
We have a tradition in our family...
If you're a girl and it's your birthday...
We have a girl breakfast at the restaurant of the birthday girls choice...
We love our girl time...
Drinking coffee...
Yummy delicious coffee...
Did I mention we all like coffee?
We love God must most assuredly enjoy coffee...
For this "Girl Breakfast" Katy's choice was Mezza...
They have fresh ground french press coffee pots that you can order...
The fun was exhausting for the youngest member of our troupe...
Plus the chairs are stinking cute...
She's probably dreaming about coffee...and it's aroma and it's goodness!

FLOWER POWER...

I love flowers...

They make my heart smile~
I do miss having my own flower garden to putz around in :(
Now instead of growing flowers I photograph them...
And I make cards with the photos...

Secret Beach...again!

I just can't stay away....I have to see the beauty at the beach!

even in death there's beauty somehow...

I like to look and listen...
I love how the sky changes all the time...literally all the time, it's beautiful
It makes me very happy and smiley...
